I would change the title to "Bicyclists Belong" and People On Bikes, not People For Bikes. But then I'm no marketing expert, just a constant burr on the League's saddle.

Keri and Commute Orlando have a great site.

I too cringe at the notion that we are "for bikes" rather than for people, but to split hairs with MikeonBike, remember that this is PEOPLE for bikes. Mike is spot on when he reminds us "its not about the bike". Its not.

Obviously, bikes without people on them don't really do much other than sit and collect dust and wait for me to score another nice one at a garage sale. Perhaps a bad choice of words on the part of Bikes Belong, but I think BB realizes that without avid customers, i.e., cyclists, you don't sell bikes and bike bling or have repeat customers like present readers here.

Lets not lose the forest for the trees or senselessly fight each other. Common ground is needed badly.

Keep the rubber side down.

Thanks for the reminder Andy, I finally signed the pledge. Who else joined me?

Am I for bikes? No, I'm for cyclists. (And I don't think that's being pedantic.) (And "pedantic" is not meant as a pun.)
