Someone needs to share this with the House and Senate Transportation Committees.

  2. Ralph Allen Says:

I’m all for the increase of bike lanes, and I also feel the discrepancy in funding for cycling/walking vs cars is atrocious, However this infographic really doesn’t say much, as an 1000 person survey is way too small a sample size across a country wide survey

    In response to Ralph.

The original white paper, downloadable at America Bikes, claims +/- 3.6 percent uncertainty at 95% c.i. I don’t know how polling companies calculate that, i.e., what their uncertainty algorithms for estimating error look like.

I’d also like to know how exactly the questions were asked. No, I didn’t read the entire white paper to find out. My boss is wondering what I am doing as it is.

    White paper is here: https://americabikes.nationbuilder.com/assets/pages/151/America_Bikes_White_paper_final.pdf
