The original white paper, downloadable at America Bikes, claims +/- 3.6 percent uncertainty at 95% c.i. I don&#039;t know how polling companies calculate that, i.e., what their uncertainty algorithms for estimating error look like. 

I&#039;d also like to know how exactly the questions were asked. No, I didn&#039;t read the entire white paper to find out. My boss is wondering what I am doing as it is.
