		<description><![CDATA[Thanks for the article. I think this is a great idea in principle. Bicycles for post disaster mobility seems like a way to help mitigate some of the dangers of not being able to get around. I am interested in an expanded vision beyond the donation of 100 new bikes. I believe it would be far more effective to support cyclists on the spot by offering a bike repair and peditaxi. The population of Far Rockaway is 130,000. So there are probably between 1300-3900 regular cyclists in the area. Having a program in place that supports cycling from day one in these disaster situations could be a powerful resource for recovery.]]></description>
